*“Whenever evil rises in the world and religion sees a decline, Lord Krishna will reincarnate to fight the evil and lead people back to the right path.”* Krishna Janmashtami, which marks the birth anniversary of Hindu god, Lord Krishna, is celebrated in India and across different parts of the world, each year on eighth day of the month Bhadra, as per the Hindu Calendar. To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated at Siddhnat World School with mirth and joy. To celebrate the extraordinary bond between children and the Almighty, Siddhant World School took the opportunity to both jubilate and learn with the young minds. The students of pre-primary were dressed up as lord Krishna and Radha, complete with flutes, peacock feathers and matkas. The premise was decorated beautifully and the spirit of festivity was enhanced with Jhankis depicting life history of Lord Krishna. Fun-filled activities like making mukut, matkis and flutes were done by students of Pg to class 2. The program started with a melodious Krishna Vandana (Achyutam keshavam). Students of classes 3 & 4 showed the birth of Lord Krishna by a very beautiful skit followed by a song performance. Gopis love and devotion for Lord Krishna was shown by a dance performance given by the students of class 3. The main attraction of the whole event was breaking of the handi filled with Makhan. At last Principal ma’am , Mrs Rashmi Singh blessed all the students on this auspicious day and gave them some worldly advice like always.

”Don’t be a patriot for a day, be one every day.” Siddhant World school Campus was full of patriotic vibes celebrating 75 years of our independence under the government initiative of Azaadi ka Amrit Mahotsav from 13-15th August 2022, wherein young patriots reflected the spirit of Indianhood. The pre-primary kids participated in the Ramp walk full of immense love for their nation. Students of class VI-XII poured out the values of our rich culture, unity and brotherhood through colors by participating in the drawing competition. The celebrations of the big day filled the students with emotions of immense pride. The presence of our esteemed chief guests, our school founder and chairman - Mr. Anurag Mishra and Director - Mrs. Ranjana Mishra, fueled the kids with new energy. Our school manager, Mr. Vijay Kumar Mishra, unfurled our national flag, symbolizing our dignity. Many programs by SWS enthusiasts followed the flag hoisting. Our prestigious guest, Mr. Alok Mishra, who has served our nation for the past 18 years as Lieutenant Colonel in the 76th Armoured corps, inspired the kids with his words of wisdom. Our Founder and Chairman, Mr. Anurag Mishra, explained the true meaning of freedom. The celebrations ended with the echoes of our national song, followed by the distribution of sweets and refreshments.

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond, Siddhant World School conducted a ‘Rakhi –making’ , Card making Rakhi envelop making competition. Students from all classes participated in the competition and made colourful rakhi’s, cards and envelopes. They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls and flowers for making beautiful rakhi’s. The skit RAKHI CONNECTION will justify the meaning of Rakshabandhan Where the children tie these cute little Rakhis on their wrist and tap their feets on the tune to say how special is the bond they share. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. SWS believes that such celebrations of festivals with true spirit teach students about our Indian traditions.
