Keeping this in mind an English elocution was organised at Siddhant World School by the junior wing (grade 1 to 5)
Where the students recited different poems with great excitement and enthusiasm as they took turns on the stage to deliver their poems. The event began with a warm welcome by the respective house incharge highlighting the importance of effective communication skills. The purpose of conducting the competition was to enhance students'communication skills , confidence and eloquence in public speaking. It provided a platform for students to showcase their oratory abilities and expressing their poetic opinions. The panel of judges evaluated the participants based on specific criteria including content delivery, voice modulation , body language, use of props, stage confidence and overall impact. Each judge provided constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and build on their strength. After a careful evaluation the winners were announced based on their performances. The school acknowledged the top three participants from each group to appreciate their involvement in the competition. The Event proved to be a successful event providing students with an opportunity to enhance their public speaking abilities and gain confidence in expressing their ideas. The efforts put in by both the students and the teachers were commendable. The competition not only improved students' communication skills but also nurtured their overall personal growth.
Such events play a vital role in preparing students for future academic and professional endeavors where clear and articulate communication is essential.
