Games and sports have become an integral element of present day education. They teach the students the qualities of discipline, sportsmanship, team spirit and leadership. They also enhance the physical and mental development of children.
Siddhant World School celebrated Annual Sports Day on 29th Dec ’22 amidst a lot of fun and frolic for our Pre-primary section.
The eventful day began with lamp lighting and torch bearing ceremony by our school Manager Mr. V.K Mishra and our school Principal, Mrs. Rashmi Singh. This was followed by a mesmerizing welcome song by our school choir and Taekwondo performance. Thereafter, there were some fun races for classes PG-III . The little shining stars also presented various colourful drills, enchanting everyone with their rhythmical steps.
The parents also got an opportunity to prove their physical fitness by participating in races. They proved that age is no bar for running and winning on the tracks.
In the end, the winners were awarded medals and certificates. Our school Manager in his address to the students laid emphasis on the need to participate. He said that it is not important to win. It is participation that makes all the difference. He congratulated the entire team of teachers and Admin Staff for a successful afternoon.
